Today I won't write about clothes, but about fashion.

Fashion is what you want it to be. If you want fashion to be sweatpants and baggy tops, it is. If you want fashion to be colourful maxidresses, it is. If you want fashion to be mini skirts and tiny tops, it is. You decide what is fashion for you.

Fashion for me is making ugly clothes beautiful by mixing it right.

Fashion for me is extraordinary patterns on the most boring clothes.

Fashion for me is mixing clothes that is not in the same style at all, and making that terrific.

My fashion world

Pastell, aztec pattern, sparkly, accessories, studs, flower, lace is just some of many that's in my fashion world.
In my fashion world there's no such thing as ugly clothes. Just clothes that are misunderstood, or with the wrong accessories. But there is something called ugly outfits. Ugly outfits are - in my brain - such as a blue shapeless tunic with neon green pants and no accessories. That outfit might be cool with a thin green belly belt, many silver bracelets, all in different shapes and a silver necklace with a heart or something.
In my fashion world sweatpants are hot, and so are knitted big sweaters. Sexy clothes are maxi dresses and covering jackets.
I love quotes and pictures on t-skirts. A picture of London, New York or Ålesund, I would wear it. Love quotes, life quotes or just the text "New York" on t-skirts or sweaters, I would wear. And I absolutely lovelovelove aztec patterns. It is so stylish and fresh. in the fall 2012 there will definitely be much aztec.
In my fashion world everyone has their own style, and there are no such thing as ugly styles. Your style says who you are, and there are no such thing as ugly personalities or ugly people. You are who you are.

Guest post: What's fasion for me

When Malene asked me if I would like to post something on this blog, I was a little skeptical. First of all, I don't think my English is so good. But most important, I don't know much about fashion. Not like Malene does. I don't know about all the collections from all the famous designers. But as you can see, I decided to write something. I figured I could write about what fashion is for me. And how fashion is something personal and special for everyone. So here you go.

Fashion is art. The way the pieces are put together. How you almost can see the personality trough the fabric. How people can put their heart and feelings in it. The way the clothing decides how you are perceived. And the way you can benefit from that.

The thing I think is most important in fashion is that you have your personal stile. That you don't try to copy someone. Of course a part of fashion is to be inspired by different people on the street, in magazines and other places you can find inspiration. But I think the clothes you wear becomes art and fashion, when you put something personal in it. And you have to be proud about wearing what you wearing. Either it's sweatpants or a high fashion dress.
Be a little different, be a little crazy and don't be afraid of mixing styles. Don't care about so called fashion rules or what other people say. As long as you feel comfortable and confident in what you wear, that's fashion and art, and that is enough.

Dip Dye

As many of you might know, dip dye is back. Many people dip dye their hair, me and my best friends did it once with blue food colouring. It becomed pretty cool. There are many shorts and other summer clothes with dip dye, you won't see much dip dye in the other seasons. It's a summer thing. So it is too bad the summer soon will be over. School starts in two weeks. Man, this vacation has gone by fast!

These shorts is on so many girls "i want"-lists. Honestly, I don't actually see why so many girls love it, but I'm sure I will too if I try it on.

A plain sweater with blue or pink on the buttom. Very sipmle. I don't really like these sweaters, because what can you really wear with them? Jeans? No, it won't match. Tights? Depends on the colours. Black will not work with this sweater. Lights colours will.

These pants are a mix of leopard and dip dye. It's white pants with green dip dye on the top. Not so plain, that's good. But I don't think I would wear them.

Pattern

With pattern pants, or pattern sweaters, the outfit will never be boring.
Gina Tricot is the shop nr. 1 when it comes to pattern. They have all types of pattern. Stripes, aztec everything.

Gina Tricot gets just bigger and bigger. Even though there is not many shops here in Norway, they sure knows how to get more and more popular and bigger and bigger.

I've fallen in love with this knitted sweater. There's so many plain knitted sweaters in the shops. What's the point having 4 almost alike sweaters in one shop? But finaly, one that is not ugly, and not plain. I'm definitely buying this.

If you're a fan of the 80's or 90's style, these pants are great. But do not wear to much accesories or to colourful top, because then you will ruine the whole consept with this pattern.

These are interesting. The pattern is so indescribably. It's just a bunch of lines put together into a pattern. It is actually fascinating.

H&M

H&M actually has many pants who give you that "young, wild and free"-feeling.

Leopard pattern on pants has been really much of in the shops, but little used in public. There's so many people who don't dare to wear them in public, because they might attract some attention. That's only weak people. Strong people wear everything they wan't to wear. Credit to them.

Some of you might now think that these pants are weird and that you would never wear them. That's what I thought when I first saw these too. But at H&M Dressingroom, as you see, I made an outfit out of the leggings. A white top with black stripes on the sides to reflect the black in the leggings. A yellow blazer to spice up the outfit, and yellow shoes to match the blazer.

I love this pattern. Of some reason it reminds me of mahogni, and that reminds me of Tori Spelling, my previous idol. Pretty strange.

So this top reminded me of the hippie style, and that style is so fancy, you know. For school I would wear this top with some black jeans and my blue parkas from bikbok.

First day of school

This post will be the most personal post you'll ever get from me. Because the meaning of this blog was not to post pictures of my self and write "Look what I bought today! I love it! Do you love it?", but it was to reach Norway and the world, and show that it's not just all of those professional fashion writers who can tell you what's hot and what's not, but it's all people who believe in fashion. If you think that I only care about fashion, and that I don't do regular stuff, you're wrong. Well, of course I love to spend hours and check out fashion, but I'll never isolate from the world. Like, this vacation, I've been working a lot for my dad to save for an iPhone.
Wow, that was really deep to be me. I'll stop. I know you guys go to this blog to read about fashion, not my boring life, so here we go:

It's so sad that I was shopping today and bought the first day of school outfit. Why has this summer gone by so fast?

Since I am starting on a new school with all new people, it is kinda important what I wear the first day of school. I don't want it to be obvious that I've spent lot's of time trying to find out what to wear, but I don't want to be perceived as an slob either. I wan't everyone to think that this is me. And I love knitted, so there wasn't doubt that I was going to wear a knitted sweater. But to make it look less baggy, I wanted to have that collar. Collars makes every outfits better. And if it gets hot, I'll just take my sweater off, and still look nice. 

And since I don't use any makeup, besides mascara, I need something to just make my face not look boring. Pearl earrings are the answer to everything. They won't make me look too dressed-up, and at the same time make the whole outfit look more exclusive.

Converse fit with everything, and a pair of Converse is something everyone should own.

The black jeans will create a balance in the outfit.

As you can see the sweater is really baggy. 

The earrings I bought on Oviesse when I was in Rome a few weeks ago. They're lovely.

Lace in mint

Clothes with lace are simple beautiful. And the mint colour are so indescribably (positively)

You might wonder why I haven't posted any dresses with peplum? Well, that's because, even thought people are using them everywhere, there are not as many dresses with peplum as it seems. But I think peplum is stylish and classy.

You've all seen this dress. It's in so many shops. But it's most common in black or white. This dress has an open v-back.

This is the same style as that over, but this is quite different. The back, is pretty much the same as the front in this one. Which makes it kinda plain, but not plane. Perfect for summer.

This is a short dress, with a hint of the Gurpdress style. I don't think a belt fit with the shape of this dress, and certainly not brown leather, but nelly.com obviously does. Ohwell.

This top you can wear with much, and in many occasions. For everyday, I would wear high waist, dark jeans, or some white tights. And I would wear a dark parkas. I would have my hair straight down, and I would wear some pearl earrings.

Layers

On the catwalk nowadays, you see a lot of clothes and shoes with layers upon layers. It's becoming more and more popular with much fabric on dresses and shoes.
Now, it's the same dilemma as it was in the post about shoes. The shops in Norway are little updatet on what's on the catwalk and the red carpet at the moment. So there will once again only be clothes and shoes from nelly.com
